An individual lease provides a room in a unit with furniture and utilities included for one low price. This is a perfect option for those who want the savings and convenience of living in a larger unit but may not have roommates available to join them.
We provide roommate-matching, bundle utilities, and provide furniture – all on an individual lease so you’re not affected if one or more of your roommates leaves before the lease is over.
Enjoy the cost savings and benefits of living in a larger apartment home while enjoying the financial security of living in a studio or 1-bedroom apartment. Each roommate gets their own assigned bedroom and shared use of the kitchen/bath(s) and common area. It’s also a great way to make friends while living off-campus! For instance, you could live in a 1500 sqft apartment for under $800 (with furniture & utilities!) while a 1-bedroom unit could set you back over $1000 a month before utilities are added!
Sign a lease for a BTB unit and get matched with other students of the same gender. You’ll have your own rental account and with utilities included, you won’t need to haggle over splitting bills. Live cooperatively by keeping the common area tidy and respecting your roommates and you’ve got a great living situation at an affordable price with none of the hassle.
Bedrooms are furnished with elevated full-sized beds and mattresses, plus two chests of drawers that can be placed under the bed or stacked to form a traditional dresser and a nightstand. Common areas include a sofa, loveseat, coffee table, end tables, and a dining table and four chairs.
We can help! We can remove bedroom furniture for a one-time cost/removal agreement for the course of the lease. We can’t remove common area furniture due to a lack of storage. Tell your leasing agent when signing up that you’d like your bedroom unfurnished and we’ll get you a furniture removal form to complete. For consistency's sake, bedrooms are taken either fully furnished or not at all furnished. We can’t provide the frame without also providing the mattress, for example.
Unfortunately, we can’t do anything about personality differences that may arise, but we’ll do our best to enforce the terms of the lease and ensure roommates comply with cooperative living in the unit. Disagreements may arise from time to time, as happens in any shared living situation, but this only provides an opportunity to develop your problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills. If needed, our management staff are available to help mediate larger disputes.
